Hello To Me
As an Australian male in my head I have often thought “I think the same in my 50th year as in my 15th year”, same insecurities and self doubt, as I have gotten older it gets harder to keep the game face on and pretend. Hello To Me came at an ideal time – It has given me the knowledge and tools to stop and think and not reinforce the old limiting thought patterns. It has also made me question what is really important to me and how I want to relate to those who are important in my life.

I’ve been having a tough time of late and have always struggled with being more confident in myself and understanding my emotions. I often felt like a pushover and taken advantage of due to my gentle demeanour. Hello To Me has given me the strength and skills to learn to express how I’m truly feeling and be a stronger person in myself. The group has been wonderful and I’m going to miss it. Thank you so much.

I would like to thank you for this amazing course, it has enabled me to find a stronger connection to my negative emotions, where they come from and why, how I sabotage and also protect myself with certain behaviours (that are damaging to others also). I feel I have found new ways to both understand and express myself.
Female, 30s
I didn’t realise how limited my emotional vocabulary was. Finding the right words has allowed me to identify thoughts and emotions I wasn’t aware of.

I thoroughly enjoyed attending this course. It was well presented and relevant... meeting others who all experience similar challenges was comforting.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the “Hello To Me” program. I have found the program has improved my awareness to my own feelings and has given me great strategies to guide me through dealing with these. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is looking for support and help with their communication skills. A very supportive and positive experience.

Hello To Me has helped me become that extra bit better in my own life. I can now recognise my own unhealthy cycles. I have a while to go, but at least I have taken the first step. Thank you.

Mind-Craft
A sample of the feedback we received from parents/guardians after the Busselton pilot:
A space of safety, trust, openness and no judgement. Mind craft offered an opportunity for my child to develop further self-awareness and learn to be more at peace with the amazing human that they are. They felt accepted and that they were extremely valued. Mind craft offered a place of support and guidance and was the absolute highlight of my child’s week.
A great program, not only for the attending individual, but also positive interactions at home, school and with others. Great to see my child has learned more about herself, smile often and since the program it is more happy days than sad ones. Bedroom isolation, in addition to not once...“I am not going to school, you can't make me”....was not mentioned during the program and school attendance is 100 % 🙂
These sessions were presented to the children in a fun, friendly, engaging and safe space. My child felt very comfortable learning the skills needed to navigate teenage emotions and even made new friends along the way. Fantastic program.
